Kashmir,December 13,2025-A severe cold wave has gripped Kashmir, causing temperatures to drop significantly across the valley. Residents are experiencing harsh winter conditions, with night temperatures plunging below freezing in several areas.
Meteorological officials have reported dense fog and frost in many parts, leading to limited visibility on roads and affecting normal life. Authorities have urged citizens to take necessary precautions, especially the elderly and children, against extreme cold.
The cold wave has also impacted daily activities, including transport and agriculture, as farmers face challenges in protecting winter crops from frost. Relief measures, such as provision of warm clothing and heating arrangements in vulnerable areas, are being prioritized by local administrations.
