Kashmir, October 6, 2025-The scenic city of Srinagar is gearing up to host the second edition of the Kashmir Literature Festival 2025 at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) from October 11, bringing together celebrated authors, poets, scholars, and artists from across India and abroad.
Festival Director Jehanzeb Allaqaband announced that this year’s edition will be a vibrant confluence of literature, art, and culture, celebrating the timeless tradition of storytelling rooted in Kashmir’s rich heritage. The festival aims to provide a platform for writers and thinkers to exchange ideas, promote reading culture, and highlight the literary evolution of Kashmir.
The three-day event will feature panel discussions, book launches, poetry recitations, interactive sessions with authors, and cultural performances showcasing the region’s linguistic diversity and creative depth.
“Kashmir has always been a land of ideas and imagination. Through this festival, we aim to revive that intellectual spirit and bridge cultures through dialogue and art,” said Jehanzeb Allaqaband, emphasising the festival’s vision of unity through literature.
The Kashmir Literature Festival 2025 promises to be a celebration of words, wisdom, and cultural exchange, reaffirming the Valley’s identity as a thriving hub of knowledge, creativity, and peace.
