Kashmir Comes Together in Prayer for Peace and Harmony on Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi at Hazratbal Dargah

The whole of Kashmir came together to offer prayers at Hazratbal Dargah in Srinagar on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW). The Milad congregation saw a huge public participation. Kashmir prayed for peace and prosperity of the whole of humanity. The message of peace by the great Prophet Hazrat Mohammad Mustafa (PBUH) shows the light towards a harmonious future said the Chairperson J&K Waqf Board Dr Darakshan Andrabi at Hazratbal Dargah. Today there is peace in Jammu & Kashmir by the grace of Allah and people gathered here from all over J&K to spread peace, said Chairperson. The teachings of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad Mustafa (PBUH) said: ‘There is reward for kindness to every living thing.’ ‘Strive always to excel in virtue and truth.’ The Muslim holy shrine Hazratbal Dargah located on the banks of the Dal Lake contains a relic, Moi-e-Muqqadas, which is widely believed to be the hair of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad.
