Kargil Vijay Diwas 2025: Tributes Echo from Amarnath | Langars, CRPF, Pilgrims Unite | Salute Heroes On Kargil Vijay Diwas, chants of Bharat Mata Ki Jay rented the air in Jammu & Kashmir. Camp Director Virendra Maniyal said the Kargil War took place in 1999 in which India had freed the illegal occupation of Kargil by the Pakistanis. TThe Indian Army soldiers sacrificed their lives to get our land back to our country. Today, we gather to pay tribute to the sacrifices of our brave soldiers. And we salute not only our soldiers, but their families as well because they too have a huge contribution in this sacrifice. We celebrate this day every year at Baltal Base Camp. Here, everyone from the temple to the langar people celebrate this day together. CRPF distributes sweets to everyone. A Langar Organiser for Amarnath Yatra, Vikas Sharma said for the past 15 years, they have been associating with the para military forces, Army, JKP and CRPF to celebrate Kargil Diwas with great enthusiasm. And it is celebrated because the Indian army showed courage and valour and gave a befitting reply to Pakistan and raised our nation’s flag and name. Today is Kargil Day and we prayed to Lord Barfani Baba for the peace of the soul of those soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation, said a male pilgrim in Amarnath cave. It was nice to have darshan of Baba today and today is 26th July, we prayed to Baba for the Kargil martyrs too, said another female pilgrim remebering India’s immortal heroes.
