Srinagar, November 5,2025:Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha reaffirmed that the enduring peace and progress in Jammu and Kashmir is the result of immense sacrifice, courage, and unwavering commitment of its people and security forces. Addressing a gathering at a public function, the LG said that peace in J&K has not come easily, but has been earned through resilience, shared values, and constant dialogue aimed at building a just and inclusive society.
“Jammu and Kashmir’s journey from turmoil to tranquility has been guided by the spirit of unity and sacrifice. Every citizen, every soldier, and every martyr has contributed to this transformation,” LG Sinha said, adding that the administration is committed to protecting these hard-earned gains through development, justice, and equitable opportunities for all.
The LG emphasised that dialogue and understanding remain the cornerstones of democracy, and the Union Territory will continue to move forward by strengthening institutions, empowering youth, and promoting peace through progress. He highlighted that the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has brought a new era of trust, transparency, and transformation in J&K, turning aspirations into achievements across all sectors.
“Peace built on sacrifice must be sustained by our collective values—compassion, honesty, and hard work,” he remarked, calling upon the people to remain vigilant against forces that seek to divide and destabilise the region.
Underlining the government’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism, LG Sinha noted that development, education, and employment have become the new symbols of empowerment in the Union Territory. “Today, every corner of Jammu and Kashmir is scripting a story of change—villages are thriving, industries are reviving, and youth are leading innovation and entrepreneurship,” he said.
The LG reiterated that the spirit of dialogue and democratic participation will guide future efforts to consolidate peace and stability. “We will continue to engage with citizens, youth, and stakeholders to ensure that every voice contributes to the shared dream of a prosperous Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.
