J&K’s LG Sinha Embraces Spiritual Tourism at Charar-e-Sharief Shrine, Advocates Sufism for Peace

I feel fortunate that I have got a chance to visit this sacred shrine once again, said the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha paying obeisance at Charar-e-Sharief shrine in Budgam. He said the message of love went to the whole world from here. I think peace and tranquility can be restored in Jammu and Kashmir only through Sufism, LG stated. Not only Jammu and Kashmir, the people of the whole country have faith here. The Lieutenant Governor engaged in discussions with spiritual leaders, public representatives, and local residents at Charar-e-Sharief to explore ways of unlocking the tourism potential and promoting spiritual tourism in the region. Religious tourists will come here in large numbers in the coming days, LG said. Accordingly, the infrastructure and other development works has also been discussed. We will try to fulfill it in the next few days. Local problems have also been understood by discussing with the local residents. We will resolve that too, said the Lieutenant Governor.
