SRINAGAR, JULY 29: In a proud moment for Jammu and Kashmir, young shooting sensation Abhay Gupta delivered a stellar performance at the MASPED Cup 2025, held in Budapest, Hungary. Representing India, Gupta competed in the highly competitive Centre Fire and Standard Pistol categories, finishing among the top international shooters.
The MASPED Cup, an elite-level shooting championship featuring participants from over 20 countries, showcased Abhay’s exceptional precision, discipline, and consistency on the global stage. His performance has been widely praised by shooting federations and sports authorities in India.
Abhay, a native of Jammu, has been training rigorously under expert guidance and has emerged as one of the most promising shooters from J&K. His latest achievement marks a significant milestone in his sporting journey and places Jammu & Kashmir firmly on the global shooting map.
Officials from the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council congratulated Abhay Gupta on his outstanding performance and affirmed continued support for talented athletes representing the Union Territory at national and international levels.
