JKP Launches Cricket Tournament in Katra to Engage Youth and Promote Healthy Activities. Jammu Kashmir Police (JKP) organised a cricket tournament under its civic action plan in Katra. The intention was to involve the youth in healthy sport activity so that they are not lured towards bad activities and drugs. They stay motivated. They should interact with uss and keep focussing on progressing their life. Eight teams will play in the Cricket Tournament under the Civic Action Plan in Katra, said the JKP ploice. For the two winner teams, prie money has been kept. Children will be given kits to play. The mission of this programme is engagement of the youth and increasing their interaction with the Police and to make them realise the importance of sports in their life and its growth, said JKP in Katra, Jammu & Kashmir.
