In the last two decades, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University has been preparing children, boys and girls, for national service by providing them professional training so that they can reshape the national policy through their work. Here in J&K, 17 girls have got gold medal, while 9 boys have also got gold medal. Apart from this, our girls have also won the Certificate of Distinction and Infosys Foundation Prize, we all are very proud of this achievement of our J&K girls, said the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha in his speech at the 10th Convocation ceremony of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University in Jammu and Kashmir. This indicates that our girls are going to lead this nation. And by becoming the destiny maker of this great country, they will also ensure the prosperity of the society. When flowers bloom early in the morning, their hearts are filled with prayers and devotees go for worship and offer these flowers in the temple to the Gods. In the same manner, please dedicate your work in the Mahayagya with which respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is moving forward with the goal of a developed India. I hope that the youth who join new jobs will not understand it as just a phase of their career but will fulfill the mission of strengthening India’s economy with a futuristic vision which will fulfill their individual aspirations as well as the aspirations of others. School and university campus are two places where the future is shaped. It is the responsibility of the school and campus environment to nurture the talents that shape the future, including science, curiosity, creativity, knowledge, academic values, scientific temper and life learning skills along with the essential skills of the 21st century. And even today, be it corporate world, different sectors, public life, there cannot be a better inspirational education than this for students. The modern world has seen four industrial revolutions. Coal was the basis of the first Industrial Revolution in 1765. When the second industrial revolution took place in 1875, its basis was gas. Electronics and nuclear power became the basis of the third industrial revolution in 1969. We consider the year 2000 to be the beginning of the fourth industrial revolution. But the first progress in this came after 2010 when digital technology, virtual world and physical world were merged together. Young friends, it is important to know the future of history so that the goals of the future are clear and our intentions are strong, LG said motivating the students. India is the land of equality for all religions. And it is the responsibility of all of us to keep its ideals under scrutiny. The economy of England which looted us is 3.50 trillion dollar and ours has grown to 3.90 trillion dollars. Today, we are the fifth biggest economy in the world, said the Lieutenant Governor addressing the 10th Convocation ceremony of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University in Jammu and Kashmir.
