Srinagar, September 15, 2025: A new chapter unfolds for Kashmir’s youth as the J&K Thang-Ta trials are set to take place at the Polo Ground, Srinagar on September 22–23. The trials aim to select the best athletes to represent the union territory at the National Thang-Ta Championships in Goa.
Thang-Ta, a traditional martial art of Manipur, has gained popularity in Jammu & Kashmir as a medium for youth empowerment, discipline, and sports development. The trials in Srinagar are expected to attract talented young participants eager to showcase their skills and bring pride to the region.
