Kashmir,January 26,2026- Eminent social worker Brij Lal Bhat from Jammu and Kashmir has been conferred the prestigious Padma Shri award in the field of Social Work, in recognition of his tireless efforts toward promoting communal harmony, spiritual initiatives, and land reclamation.
Over the years, Brij Lal Bhat has played a significant role in fostering peace, unity, and social cohesion among communities through sustained grassroots engagement. His work has focused on bridging social divides, encouraging spiritual values, and reclaiming degraded land for productive and community use, contributing to both social well-being and environmental restoration.
