Chandigarh, October 14,2025:Jammu and Kashmir left a lasting impression at the CII Chandigarh Fair 2025 with a vibrant pavilion organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organisation. The display celebrated the Union Territory’s rich cultural heritage and skilled craftsmanship.
Visitors were treated to a beautiful showcase of Pashmina shawls, handwoven carpets, saffron, dry fruits, and other traditional specialties. The pavilion drew a large crowd and received widespread praise for highlighting local artisans and promoting indigenous crafts.
Officials from JKTPO said the exhibition was a valuable opportunity to boost handicraft sales, promote tourism, and put a spotlight on the region’s culture. They emphasised that platforms like these help local artisans reach wider markets while preserving Jammu and Kashmir’s unique artistic legacy.
The pavilion not only showcased the region’s craftsmanship but also offered visitors a glimpse into the vibrant traditions and creativity that make J&K truly unique.
