Srinagar, November 18,2025 : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has highlighted the remarkable progress and transformative development that Jammu and Kashmir has achieved since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019. Speaking at a recent public event, LG Sinha emphasised that the Union Territory has witnessed unprecedented growth across multiple sectors, setting new benchmarks in governance, infrastructure, and public welfare.
Under the dynamic leadership of LG Manoj Sinha, J&K has seen significant strides in infrastructure development, industrial growth, tourism promotion, and digital governance. Major projects, including new road networks, hydropower initiatives, and smart city projects, have accelerated economic activity and improved the quality of life for citizens.
LG Sinha also stressed the importance of youth empowerment and education reform in building a progressive and self-reliant J&K. “The focus has been on creating opportunities for our young population, enhancing skill development programs, and ensuring inclusive growth for all,” he remarked.
Since 2019, Jammu and Kashmir has emerged as a model for investment-friendly policies, attracting both domestic and international investors. Key sectors such as tourism, horticulture, and information technology have received special attention, driving job creation and economic revival in the region.
The Lieutenant Governor’s vision includes sustainable development, improved healthcare infrastructure, and efficient governance systems.
