According to official data, the surge reflects growing confidence among travelers and the success of sustained efforts to promote J&K as a year-round tourism destination. From snow-covered slopes to serene lakes and spiritual shrines, the region attracted domestic as well as international visitors in large numbers.
Popular destinations such as Gulmarg, Pahalgam, and Dal Lake recorded heavy tourist inflow throughout the year. Pilgrimage tourism also contributed significantly, with lakhs of devotees visiting the revered shrine of Vaishno Devi Temple.
