J&K Police Force Unique in India | Dedicated to Protecting & Empowering People of Kashmir | Spl DG A Kashmir Marathon 2023 was organised by the J&K police on October 2, 2023 on Gandhi Jayanti. Spl DG J&K Police, RR Swain said, J&K Police Force is unique in the entire country. An enemy who is very organised, gathers strength from outside, tries to strengthen itself from within. And in front of the enemy, the police fights among the people for the people. So in that fight which is against a few people when people do it with their own people then it becomes difficult for them. It requires another level of bravery which other forces do not have. The rest of the forces are amazing, they have more skills, said the Spl DG J&K Police. And there is knowledge, skill and experience. But there are many differences between their difficulties and ours. So that’s the difficulty and that difficulty when you keep in mind and yet the fight continues, quietly and silently. Through that fight, we try to achieve for the common citizen who has no hearing but who is also ours. And we keep in mind the person sitting in a distant village, even if he is a small shopkeeper. Even if he be a small government employee or a small journalist. Even if he be a lawyer working in a small Munsiff court. Or if he is a Khateeb in a mosque. For all those who courageously within the ambit of law help people and want to earn their living by leading a life of respect, J&K police is there for them, said Spl DG J&K Police, RR Swain.
