J&K Police Conducts Drug Awareness Program in Ganderbal | To Stop Violence Against Women & Children J&K police organised a drug awareness programme at Government Degree College, Ganderbal. We work for Violence Against Women & Children and study how drug abuse contributes to violence against women and children, said the members of the prevention programme. When we document our cases we try to examine the reason for violence. In maximum cases, alcohol abuse and drug abuse is the main reason. There are other reasons like gambling, dowry demand and harassment. Today, in this programme on drug awareness we came to know how drugs are so harmful for any person. And we gave the same advice to our college students on how to avoid drugs and how to stay away from drugs. How does a person spoil the efforts of his parents by getting into drugs? He spends whatever income he has. Drugs awareness conferences, seminars and debates. This is the mission of this program and the vision is that our daughters and sisters should stay away from this addiction and focus themselves towards books. May the dreams that your parents have for you come true. Our message today will also be that our youth should stay away from this addiction, this habit also leads to a loss of their respect in the society. Whoever faces violence or is a drug addict should come forward and come to the rehabilitation program and report to the centres, do not ignore.
