J&K Police Conduct Security Drill at NEET Re-Examination Centres in Srinagar

Srinagar, June 20,2026- In preparation for the NEET re-examination, Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday carried out an extensive security drill at various examination centres across Srinagar to ensure the safe and smooth conduct of the test.

Senior police officials visited multiple examination venues and reviewed the security arrangements put in place for the re-examination. The inspection focused on access control measures, deployment plans, crowd management strategies, and emergency response preparedness.

As part of the security exercise, police personnel conducted mock drills and coordinated with examination authorities to streamline entry and exit procedures for candidates. Surveillance around examination centres was also intensified, with additional security personnel deployed to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incidents.

Officials stated that all necessary measures have been taken to provide a secure and hassle-free environment for students appearing in the examination. Security agencies are working in close coordination with civil administration and education authorities to ensure that the re-examination is conducted fairly and peacefully.

The heightened security arrangements reflect the administration’s commitment to maintaining transparency, safety, and smooth conduct of one of the country’s most important medical entrance examinations.
