Srinagar, March 20, 2026- The Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha stated that Jammu and Kashmir is poised for a vibrant and prosperous future, highlighting ongoing developmental initiatives across sectors including tourism, infrastructure, education, and healthcare.
Addressing a public gathering, the LG emphasized that focused governance, investor-friendly policies, and sustainable development efforts are transforming Jammu and Kashmir into a hub of economic growth and cultural vitality. “Our mission is to ensure that every citizen benefits from the region’s potential, while preserving its unique heritage and natural beauty,” he said.
The LG pointed out that sectors like tourism, handicrafts, and agriculture are witnessing steady growth, while infrastructure projects in road connectivity, power supply, and digital services are accelerating progress in both urban and rural areas. He also underscored the importance of skill development programs and youth engagement to create employment opportunities and foster entrepreneurship.
Officials said that ongoing efforts aim to attract national and international investment, promote local businesses, and enhance overall quality of life, positioning J&K as a vibrant, forward-looking region on the global map.
