J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha leads 76th Republic Day celebrations in Jammu

Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha reviewed the Republic Day Parade, which featured a series of disciplined contingents from the Army, BSF, CRPF, SSB, IRP (both women and male), J&K Police, JKAP, UT Disaster Response Force, Fire and Emergency Services, Forest Protection Force, Excise & Taxation Department, Ex-Servicemen, NCC (Boys and Girls), and the Bharat Scouts and Guides (Boys and Girls). The parade was accompanied by Brass and Pipe Bands from the Army, BSF, J&K Police, and various school bands.

The event showcased a variety of Tableaux highlighting the rich cultural diversity of Jammu and Kashmir, including themes such as PM-Surya Ghar, Swarnim Bharat Ki Virasat, Fit India Movement, and the ongoing War Against Drugs. A special highlight was the impressive Motorcycle Acrobatic display by JKP daredevils, along with cultural pageantry that depicted various regional themes.

Earlier, the Lieutenant Governor paid homage to the brave martyrs by laying a wreath at the Police Martyrs Memorial and Balidan Stambh, honouring the sacrifices of Police, Army, and CAPF personnel who gave their lives in service to the nation.
