Jammu, January 3, 2026- Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, on Friday unveiled the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board’s (SMVDSB) Panchang Calendar and Diary for the year 2026 at a formal ceremony.
The Panchang Calendar and Diary, brought out annually by the Shrine Board, contain important religious dates, festivals, rituals, and spiritual information associated with the holy Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine. These publications serve as a valuable guide for millions of devotees who undertake the pilgrimage every year.
Speaking on the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor appreciated the dedicated efforts of the SMVDSB in preserving religious traditions while ensuring world-class facilities, safety, and convenience for pilgrims visiting the shrine at Katra.
The Lieutenant Governor also extended his best wishes to devotees for the New Year 2026, expressing hope that the calendar and diary would continue to strengthen the spiritual connect and cultural heritage of the region.
Senior officers of the Shrine Board and officials were present during the unveiling ceremony.
