J&K LG Shri Manoj Sinha pays tribute to martyrs

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha, attended the ‘Ati Vishnu Mahayagya’ at Pouni in Reasi district, a significant event that honours the brave soldiers and police personnel who sacrificed their lives for the nation. Organised annually by Pujya Sant Shri Bal Yogeshwar Ji Maharaj, the gathering serves as a reminder of the ultimate sacrifices made by security forces in preserving the country’s unity, integrity, and peace. During his address, he expressed deep gratitude for the selflessness of the martyrs. “Our brave soldiers have made the supreme sacrifice for the cause of unity, integrity, peace, and progress. The nation will forever remain indebted to them,” he said, emphasizing that the government is committed to realizing the dreams of these martyrs by working with sincerity and dedication to build a modern and progressive Jammu and Kashmir. He highlighted the significant progress Jammu and Kashmir has made under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, noting that the region, is now on a path of rapid transformation. “In the last 50 months, we have seen an exceptional journey of growth and prosperity,” he said, citing advances in infrastructure, economic development, and the creation of a more business-friendly environment that has attracted investments to the region. In his address, the Lieutenant Governor spoke about the administration’s focus on people-centric policies and progressive reforms. “Our policies are designed to empower the youth, women, farmers, and marginalized sections of society,” he said.
