In memory of the martyrs of the country a ‘maha yagya’ in the presence of Swami ji was organised in respect of the supreme sacrifice of their lives.The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha laying a floral wreath at the Shaheed Smarak said, the life of a soldier is akin to a ‘yagya’. Like the raging fire arising from the ‘yagya’ our brave soldiers show the same dedication and sacrifice for the motherland. They protect every inch of the motherland by sacrificing their lives. For this the nation will always be grateful to them. The people living in the surroundings of district Reasi are very happy that the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Shri Manoj Sinha paid a visit to the small village although the whole province of Jammu & Kashmir is under his jurisdiction.
