Jammu, March 30, 2025 – Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha made a visit to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu to enquire about the health of Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel injured during a recent encounter with terrorists in Kathua district.
The injured personnel include SDPO Border, Kathua, Shri Dheeraj Katoch, and SPO Bharat Jalhotra, who sustained injuries while bravely confronting terrorists. During the visit, a team of senior doctors provided the Lieutenant Governor with a detailed briefing on the health condition of the injured officers and the medical procedures being undertaken for their treatment.
Expressing concern for their well-being, LG Shri Manoj Sinha met with the family members of the injured police personnel, offering them reassurance and pledging all possible assistance from the administration. He also issued clear directives to the hospital administration to ensure the best possible medical care to facilitate the speedy recovery of the brave officers.
The encounter in Kathua, a district known for its strategic border proximity, underscores the ongoing security challenges in the region.
