Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha humbly requested that Swami Kailashanand Giri ji pray for the unity of minds, for the oneness of heart and spirit, so that the nation may prosper. He emphasied that the eternal essence of Sanatan Dharma is vast and boundless. As highlighted in the Shrimad Bhagwat, the teachings of sacrifice, penance, and truth form the four pillars of Dharma, which are essential for the spiritual and moral foundation of society. These four pillars have been shared with humanity for their upliftment, and the Rigveda further elaborates on the importance of truth and righteousness in guiding human life. He acknowledged that the responsibility to safeguard and promote the values of truth and Dharma rests with the spiritual leaders and saints of the nation. It is their sacred duty to protect and ensure the proper application of these four pillars of Sanatan Dharma for the unity and well-being of society and the nation. He noted that our revered saints have carried out this responsibility throughout history. However, he also expressed concern that today, the challenges to unity have become more significant. There are increasing forces seeking to divide the nation and undermine India’s rich cultural heritage. He pointed out that as India’s global stature rises and the nation progresses, certain elements—both internal and external—are growing uncomfortable with this change. These forces are actively working against the collective spirit of India, and it is crucial that society and the nation unite in the face of these threats. The Lieutenant Governor emphasised the critical role that spiritual leaders like Swami Ji play in ensuring this unity. In these challenging times, the Lieutenant Governor stressed that no one can contribute to the preservation of unity and the safeguarding of India’s cultural values in the same way as Swami Ji. He expressed deep belief in the unparalleled importance of Swami Ji’s leadership and contributions to the cause of national unity. He concluded by invoking the timeless teachings of Sanatan Dharma, expressing hope that they would guide India through these testing times and help the nation emerge stronger, united, and steadfast in its commitment to preserving truth, righteousness, and cultural heritage.
