Katra November 6,2025: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha paid obeisance at the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji Shrine in Katra. The Lieutenant Governor prayed for the well-being of all citizens and for peace, prosperity, and harmony across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
During his visit, LG Sinha took part in the sacred rituals at the holy cave shrine and sought the divine blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi. He expressed hope that the Goddess would continue to bless the people of Jammu and Kashmir with happiness, progress, and unity.
The Lieutenant Governor also reviewed the facilities and arrangements made by the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board for the convenience and safety of pilgrims. He appreciated the efforts of the Board and local administration for ensuring a smooth pilgrimage experience and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, security, and hospitality at the shrine.
The visit comes as part of the LG’s continued engagement in promoting spiritual tourism and preserving the rich cultural and religious heritage of Jammu and Kashmir.
