Kupwara, October 15,2025: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, met with families of terror victims at the Government Degree College Kupwara to offer support and listen to their concerns. The interaction forms part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to provide relief, rehabilitation, and assistance to families affected by militancy in the region.
During the visit, LG Sinha emphasised the government’s commitment to standing by victims of terrorism and ensuring that they receive timely assistance, financial support, and social security benefits. He encouraged the families to remain resilient and assured them that the administration is focused on uplifting affected communities and strengthening peace in the region.
The LG also highlighted initiatives aimed at education, skill development, and employment opportunities for the youth of Kupwara, underlining the importance of creating socio-economic avenues to reduce vulnerability to extremist influences.
Officials present at the event included senior administrative and police officers, who briefed the LG on ongoing support measures and challenges faced by terror-affected families.
