Kashmir, December 1, 2025 – Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha participated in the Unity March ‘Ek Bharat Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ Padyatra in Vadodara , commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
During the event, LG Sinha highlighted Sardar Patel’s instrumental role in the creation of a unified India, emphasizing his firm resolve and decisive actions that ensured the nation’s stability, integrity, and strength. He remarked that the history of Jammu & Kashmir could have been different if Sardar Patel had been entrusted with full responsibility for its integration in 1947.
The Padyatra celebrated Patel’s vision of national unity, equality, social justice, and strong governance, ideals that continue to shape India’s growth and development. LG Sinha urged citizens to uphold Patel’s principles of unity in diversity and self-reliance, aligning with the spirit of Ek Bharat Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
The event saw participation from officials, dignitaries, and citizens, who paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, also known as the Iron Man of India, and reiterated the importance of nation-building, inclusive development, and fostering national unity.
