Jammu, April 17,2026- Manoj Sinha on Friday flagged off a grand Shobha Yatra from Chanakya Chowk, Parade Ground Jammu, to mark the auspicious occasion of Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti.
The religious procession saw enthusiastic participation from devotees, youth groups, and various social and cultural organizations. Accompanied by devotional songs, traditional music, and colorful tableaux, the Yatra passed through key city routes, creating a vibrant and spiritual atmosphere.
On the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor paid obeisance to Bhagwan Parshuram and prayed for peace, progress, and prosperity for all. Addressing the gathering, he extended his greetings to the people and emphasized the teachings of Bhagwan Parshuram Ji, highlighting values such as righteousness, discipline, and social harmony.
LG Manoj Sinha also appreciated the efforts of the organizers for successfully conducting the event and fostering unity among people from different walks of life.
Adequate security arrangements were put in place to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the procession. The event concluded with a message of communal harmony, devotion, and collective well-being.
