Srinagar, November 1, 2025: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, inaugurated the 200-bedded Amandeep BR Medicity Hospital at Tengpora-Bemina Bypass, Srinagar. The newly established multi-speciality hospital has been developed in collaboration with Ujala Cygnus Healthcare and is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and advanced medical technology.
Speaking at the inaugural event, LG Manoj Sinha highlighted the government’s commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the new facility will significantly enhance medical accessibility and quality care for people in the region, while also generating employment opportunities for healthcare professionals.
“The Amandeep BR Medicity, with its modern facilities and expert medical team, will serve as a symbol of our vision to ensure affordable and quality healthcare for every citizen of J&K,” said the Lieutenant Governor.
Officials from the Health and Medical Education Department, representatives from Amandeep BR Medicity and Ujala Cygnus Healthcare, and local dignitaries attended the ceremony.
