Srinagar, 30 September,2025: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attended the closing ceremony of the 20th Police Martyr’s Memorial Football Tournament held at TRC, Srinagar. The event was also graced by DGP J&K, IGP Kashmir, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, and other senior officials.
The tournament celebrated sportsmanship, teamwork, and community engagement while paying tribute to the courage and sacrifice of police martyrs. Participants from various teams showcased exceptional talent, discipline, and dedication throughout the competition.
Speaking on the occasion, LG Sinha highlighted the significance of honouring police martyrs and promoting sports culture among youth, emphasising that such events strengthen the bond between the police force and local communities.
The event concluded with the felicitation of winning teams and participants, reinforcing the spirit of healthy competition, bravery, and unity in Jammu and Kashmir.
