Jammu, October 14 ,2025:Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha addressed a mega rally of ex-servicemen in Jammu, organised by the Western Command and the 26 Infantry Division to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of India’s victory over Pakistan in the 1965 war.
In his address, the Lt Governor paid tribute to the martyrs and saluted the indomitable spirit of India’s ex-servicemen, acknowledging their courage, sacrifice, and lifelong commitment to the nation. He described the event as a moment to honour the valour of those who defended India’s sovereignty and inspired generations with their dedication.
Reaffirming his commitment to the welfare of veterans, LG Sinha said, “Unwavering devotion to ex-servicemen is the fundamental foundation of my policies. Personally, for me, the land of veterans is no less than a pilgrimage site. Our veterans have made immense contributions to economic growth, social transformation, and the resurgence of a glorious India.”
The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from war veterans, serving defence personnel, and their families, celebrating the spirit of unity, resilience, and patriotism that defines the Indian Armed Forces.
