Kashmir, November 8,2025: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha delivered the keynote address at the Ghazipur Literature Festival, which brought together renowned authors, scholars, artists, and policymakers from the Indian diaspora across Mauritius, South Africa, Suriname, Fiji, Norway, and several other countries.
In his address, LG Sinha highlighted the immense contribution of the Indian diaspora to humanity’s collective growth and global development, emphasising how their hard work, integrity, and dedication, guided by India’s ancient civilisational values, have earned them global respect and recognition.
He noted that the diaspora has not only excelled in diverse fields worldwide but has also played a vital role in strengthening cultural, economic, and emotional ties between India and the nations they now call home.
The Ghazipur Literature Festival served as a vibrant platform to celebrate shared heritage, ideas, and identity, fostering meaningful exchanges between global Indian communities and the cultural roots of their homeland.
