Awantipora, 24, 2025-Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today addressed the Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Program at the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), reaffirming his commitment to youth empowerment and nation-building. The program, organised under the banner of MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat), aims to bridge the gap between young citizens and policymakers while preparing India’s youth to actively contribute to the nation’s developmental journey toward 2047.
In his address, LG Sinha emphasiSed the critical role of youth in shaping the future of Viksit Bharat (Developed India). He urged students to take ownership of their roles as future leaders, innovators, and changemakers. “India’s progress will be driven by the energy, ideas, and involvement of its young citizens. Platforms like this are essential for fostering participatory governance, dialogue, and leadership,” he said.

The program included sessions on youth leadership, participatory planning, policy awareness, and development goals aligned with India@2047. Students and faculty members engaged in interactive discussions and workshops, sharing their ideas for accelerating inclusive development and building a self-reliant nation.
Organized in collaboration with MY Bharat, the event is part of a nationwide effort to connect with young minds and encourage grassroots participation in the democratic process.
