J&K | LG Fulfills Demands of Bandipora Residents | Inaugurates Rs 73 cr Infrastructure Projects To Bandipora, the Land of Alim, Adab and Aab, says a signboard. In the District Administration Bandipora of Jammu & Kashmir, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha inaugurated infrastructure projects worth over Rs 73 crores. The demand for car parking has been taken care by the LG who has laid the foundation online. Inauguration of 6.3 MVA 33/11 KV receiving station at Shahgund has been done. There is also a demand for converting Srinagar-Bandipora road into a Highway. All the other issues of the Municipality have been discussed. LG handed over the land allotment orders to the landless beneficiaries of PMAY-G. Our demands reached the Lieutenant Governor and they have been fulfilled. All the demands put forward to the LG whether government related or health related or education related have been fulfilled and we hope these demands too get fulfilled, said the residents. The Lieutenant Governor laid the foundation stone for the Multi-Level Car Parking at Gulshan Chowk Bandipora to be constructed at a cost of Rs 5 crore. The residents also wanted the temple in the area to get developed with a park and maintained well. The resident representatives hoped that their demands would be fulfilled soon.
