J&K LG Shri Manoj Sinha distributes the Tricolour which upholds the hopes and dreams of citizens

To fulfill the mission of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, Jammu & Kashmir LG Shri Manoj Sinha distributed the Indian national flags among the Raj Bhawan staff. The national flag of India popularly called the Tricolour is a horizontal rectangular tricolor flag in saffron, white and green, with the Ashoka Chakra, a 24-spoke wheel, in navy blue at its centre. It was adopted in a Constituent Assembly meeting on 22 July, 1947. It became the official flag of India on 15th August 1947. The LG said our Tiranga has been the symbol of hopes and dreams of our citizens for the last 75 years and continues to guide and lead us.

India is celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to honour 75th anniversary of Independence. The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to honour Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav commenced on March 12, 2021, which started a 75-week countdown to our 75th anniversary of Independence.
