Srinagar, October 18,2025: In its biggest effort to provide greater job security, the Jammu and Kashmir government regularised 863 casual employees and granted them permanent jobs along with enhanced benefits.
The decision comes with an aim to recognize the contribution of daily-wagers, assure employment, and bring efficiency in public service delivery in the Union Territory. The move was taken with the vision to manifest the welfare approach, inclusive administration, and livelihood support ideology of the administration for all workers.
Regularisation will allow the beneficiaries to avail social security schemes, pension and other employment benefits, augmenting the government’s thrust in empowering employees and establishing socio-economic stability in J&K.
