Firdaous Ahmad Bhat, a Beneficiary of the government scheme says before Article 370 the schemes were given to relatives but now recommendation does not work. The poor who want to stand on their feet can come to the centre and register to avail the benefits of the loan schemes. They are thankful to the LG government and the DC for making available the schemes to the needy. A girl beneficiary of Jammu & Kashmir, Marjena Akhter said, the government had launched the Tejaswini scheme and I filled the online form.I was sanctioned a loan without guarantor.I chose the clothes business as it does not require guarantee. All that is required is hard work and honesty. I am thankful that my work is going in a good direction and I am able to earn on my own. Now, I want to expand my work, said Marjena. Imtyaz Ahmad Khan, Branch Manager J&K Bank says, our unemployed youth can seek the bank’s help in getting loans for their own work. The government schemes are helpful to them as there is the subsidy component coming from the government. This loan is at a reduced concession rate. So the youth should take advantage and approach the bank to start the business of their liking.
