Vande Mataram! To honour India’s 75th year of Independence and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Jammu & Kashmir celebrated Independence Day across districts in Budgam, Ramban, Kupwara and Ganderbal with great enthusiasm. School children in Budgam gathered at the stadium to perform cultural acts. Parades were held, awards given and most of all, boys and girls were elated to present their feats. They in fact, wait the whole year and prepare enthusiastically to perform during the August 15th Independence Day celebrations. This year, the children feel proud and happy that they can perform during the historic 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
