
Srinagar, June 18, 2025: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah warmly received the first batch of 178 Hajj pilgrims at Srinagar International Airport on Wednesday evening. The pilgrims, returning from their sacred journey to Mecca, were greeted with heartfelt congratulations by the Chief Minister for fulfilling the significant Islamic obligation of Hajj.
The CM personally interacted with the Hujaaj, inquiring about their pilgrimage experience and expressing his joy at their safe return. He extended his best wishes for their well-being and commended their devotion in undertaking the spiritually enriching journey.
The event marked the beginning of the return phase for Hajj 2025 pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir, with authorities ensuring smooth arrangements at the airport to facilitate their arrival. The administration has made comprehensive provisions, including transportation and assistance, to ensure a hassle-free return for all pilgrims.
