Kashmir, July 30, 2025– The Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir today inaugurated the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) in Ahmedabad, aiming to showcase the region’s unparalleled natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and growing tourism infrastructure. The event served as a strategic platform to promote J&K’s tourism potential to domestic and international travellers.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Advisor to CM, Nasir Sogami, MLA Pahalgam, Altaf Kaloo, and MLA Gulmarg, Farooq Shah, who together highlighted the government’s commitment to strengthening sustainable tourism in the Union Territory.
In his address, the Chief Minister invited travellers from across the country to experience the unmatched charm of Jammu and Kashmir, describing it as a land of welcoming people, breathtaking landscapes, and diverse traditions.
“From the serene valleys of Pahalgam and the pristine slopes of Gulmarg, to vibrant local festivals and ancient heritage sites—Jammu and Kashmir offers something for every kind of traveller,” he said.
The J&K pavilion at the fair featured immersive exhibits, showcasing regional handicrafts, culinary delights, adventure tourism offerings, and spiritual destinations, drawing significant attention from tour operators, travel bloggers, and media.
Officials emphasized the administration’s focus on upgrading infrastructure, ensuring safety, and enhancing digital promotion to attract year-round tourism.
This event marks another step forward in positioning Jammu and Kashmir as a world-class travel destination, while also supporting economic development, employment, and cultural exchange.
