Jammu, September 18, 2025: In a move to strengthen the agricultural ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir, J&K Bank organised a workshop on e-National Warehouse Receipt (eNWR) in collaboration with the Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA) and National e-Governance Services Ltd (NERL). The workshop aimed to promote innovative financing solutions and enhance the agricultural supply chain infrastructure across the region.
The initiative focused on leveraging eNWR to provide farmers and traders with better access to credit facilities, improve warehouse management, and facilitate smooth agricultural commodity financing. Representatives from banks, cooperative societies, farmers’ associations, and other stakeholders attended the workshop and participated in discussions on digital warehouse receipts, supply chain modernisation, and financial inclusion.
Speaking at the event, officials emphasised that the adoption of eNWR would enable transparent transactions, reduce post-harvest losses, and strengthen the overall agriculture sector in J&K. The workshop reflects J&K Bank’s commitment to supporting agriculture financing, promoting technology-driven solutions, and enhancing sustainable development in the region.
