Srinagar,December 29,2025 :The much-awaited cultural festival Jashn-e-Wandeh will be inaugurated on December 29 at Ghat No. 16, Dal Lake, Srinagar, at 4:30 p.m., marking a vibrant celebration of Kashmir’s rich cultural heritage.
The event aims to promote traditional art, culture, and community participation, bringing together artists, performers, locals, and tourists at one of Srinagar’s most iconic locations. The festival is expected to showcase a range of cultural programmes, including traditional music, folk performances, and other artistic expressions that reflect the region’s unique identity.
Organisers said Jashn-e-Wandeh is designed to celebrate Kashmir’s cultural legacy while also boosting tourism during the winter season. Dal Lake, already a major attraction, is expected to witness increased footfall as visitors gather to experience the festivities.
The inauguration ceremony will be attended by officials, cultural figures, and members of the public, adding to the festive atmosphere along the scenic lakefront.
