Jammu | Youth Appreciate Infrastructure Improvements & Good Governance | Changes Post Aug 5, 2019 If we talk about what happened after August 5, 2019, what had been promised to us regarding development, I believe those development and progress are visible on the ground, said a youth in Jammu. A lot of work has been done, a network of roads has been laid, where roads were unpaved, they are being paved. People got parking facility. The bus stand had a very dirty atmosphere. Now, I feel like going there. Beautiful gardens have been created and illuminating lights have been installed. Good development work is being seen. Jammu is being transformed into a Smart City. Take the example of Apsara Road, there is always rush here in the evenings and the streets have been developed in October 2023 to facilitate the shoppers and passersby. In the multi-level parking lot, people prefer to park their vehicles. The construction of this parking lot is a good step by the government as it reduces traffic congestion on the roads of Jammu. As a youth, I have a lot of love for Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha ji. The way he works and the claims he makes, he somehow lives up to it. Benefits directly reaches the person whose right is due, this was not the case earlier. Earlier there used to be many middlemen. Now that system is gone. Maximum services have become online which is providing relief to the people. A lot of changes are visible in Jammu region, the youth observed happily.
