Kashmir, November 22,2025-The Tourism Department of Jammu inaugurated a 10-day youth cricket tournament at M.A. Stadium from November 21 to 29, 2025, under the powerful theme “Say No to Drugs, Yes to Sports”. The initiative aims to encourage young people to embrace fitness, teamwork and healthy living while spreading awareness about the harmful impact of substance abuse.
The tournament was formally launched in the presence of Dr. Vikas Gupta, Director Tourism Jammu, along with Aijaz Qaiser, Joint Director Tourism, and SP Vivek Shekhar Sharma. Officials highlighted that the event is part of a larger strategy to promote positive youth engagement and strengthen the fight against drug addiction through sports and recreational activities.
With teams from various parts of Jammu participating, the event is expected to attract large audiences and foster a spirit of competition and camaraderie. The Tourism Department plans to continue organising similar activities to empower youth, promote sports culture and build a healthier future for Jammu and Kashmir.
