Jammu residents using Common Service Centres to avail public utility services

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address mentioned that there are four lakh Common Service Centres in every part of India. Thousands of services are reaching the people. These Common Service Centres are also providing a platform to provide employment to many people. The e-Governance mechanism has made fulfilment of the services online. This has helped the common citizens in Jammu who do not need to go far and take special time out in pursuit of these services. General applications can be applied through CSC centres. In every area there is a CSC centre. People need not go far; they can approach their local areas to apply. Services such as Aadhar Card, PAN Card and State government services like Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, etc which are needed by people are taken care of through CSC centres. Locals felt that earlier they stood in lines, now even for getting Ayushman Card they can come to their local CSC centre and get it easily. Women were also appreciative of the Digital India Online Services initiative spearheaded by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
