Srinagar, Februrary 26,2026- In response to the advisory issued by the Embassy of India in Tehran on February 23, 2026, the Resident Commission, Government of Jammu & Kashmir has established round-the-clock helplines to support residents returning from Iran.
The dedicated helplines, Hello J&K (7303620090) and Control Rooms (011-24611108, 011-24611210), are designed to provide timely guidance, coordination, and assistance to ensure the safe and smooth return of residents to the Union Territory. Officials emphasized that the initiative aims to facilitate travel arrangements, address queries, and provide logistical support during the return process.
Residents are encouraged to contact the helplines for any assistance related to travel documentation, health protocols, or safety measures. The move underscores the Government of Jammu & Kashmir’s commitment to the welfare and convenience of its citizens during international travel emergencies.
Authorities have also urged residents to stay updated with advisories from the Embassy of India in Tehran and follow all safety guidelines while planning their return.
