JAMMU, April 14, 2025 — On Ambedkar Jayanti, Jammu and Kashmir joined India in paying tributes to Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha led the region in celebrating Ambedkar’s vision of an equal and just society.
Dr. Ambedkar, born on April 14, 1891, worked tirelessly for social justice and the rights of the marginalized. His Indian Constitution laid the foundation for equality and unity. In Jammu, LG Manoj Sinha offered floral tributes and urged people to follow Ambedkar’s noble values. “Let us build a humane society with mutual trust and cooperation, as Babasaheb dreamed,” he said.
