Jammu is the pivot of India’s eternal culture: LG Manoj Sinha attends Shri Raghunath ji Jammu Aarti

Through the inheritance of faith and heritage, the initiative taken by all of you to serve the Sanatan culture has been recorded in the religious, spiritual and cultural history of India, the Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha said to the people of Jammu. The name of Shri Raghunath ji Corridor Vikas Council will surely be written in golden letters in the religious, educational and Sanskritic history of India using the teachings of Sanatan Culture, said the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Shri Manoj Sinha while attending Shri Raghunath ji ki Jammu Aarti at Shri Raghunath ji Mandir Chowk in Jammu. We all know that Jammu is not just a city of temples but Jammu is the pivot of India’s eternal culture. Jammu is also a symbol of faith in Sanatan culture. Jammu is also a pilgrimage site for Sanatani seekers. Jammu is also the dedication of Maryada Purushottam Ram. There is also reverence for Mata Vaishno Devi in Jammu. Jammu is also a prayer to Shiva. Jammu is also a place for worship and meditation. Jammu is also the confidence of India. Jammu is also the center of India’s rich Sanskrit heritage. Jammu is also a symbol of the divinity of India. Jammu is an eternal prayer. Jammu is the soul of Sanatan tradition. And that is why I believe that the imagination of Sanatan culture is incomplete without Jammu, said the Lieutenant Governor. The sanctity of Jammu is linked to the soul of every Indian. There is no discrimination in Sanatan culture with the blessings of Lord Shri Ram, Mata Vaishno Devi and Lord Bholenath but has always emphasised on unity and human happiness and prosperity of every family. It is the prayer of our ancestors that this earth, where people of different beliefs and consciousness live together in one peaceful home, gives happiness to all of us. If we look back at the glorious history of Jammu, we will see that many remarkable achievements have been achieved in the three areas of civilization, education and economy. The changes that have taken place in the country in the last ten-eleven years have also affected Jammu. And in today’s time there are many types of connectivity like road connectivity, rail connectivity, air connectivity, water connectivity. And the biggest connectivity in today’s world has become digital connectivity. I can say that a lot of work has been done on connectivity in the last five years, especially after 2019. Roughly Rs 1.5 lakh crore of highway, greenfield expressway and tunnel work is going on, out of which 58-59% work is being done in Jammu region only. Talking about railways, you all know that the world’s highest bridge is built on Chenab river. Anji Khad Bridge India’s first cable-stayed rail bridge is ready and soon more train services will start running. If I talk about air, when I came here, there were 6-8 flights operating daily, today there are 44 flights. I think not only basic infrastructure but also cultural progress in Jammu has given a new dimension to this country in the last ten years. The system of discrimination has also ended. Many projects have also been completed in the smart city. Jammu is the only city in the country which has all the premier educational institutions. Apart from Jammu, there is no other city in the country which has IIT, IIM, AIIMS and Central University. Because of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the seat of Chief Minister has also been created. Many such things have been done which makes me feel that people are coming in large numbers. Today, the initiation of this Aarti is a proof that after a long time, the ancient pride and self-confidence of Jammu has awakened in its soul and spirit. I am confident that this spiritual wealth will become a medium for the pride of the entire society, said the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
