Srinagar, July 28,2026-In a proud moment for Jammu and Kashmir, Majid Ahmad Magray has been appointed captain of the Indian team for the upcoming Mixed Disability T20 International Series against England. The announcement was made by the Differently Abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI), marking a significant milestone in Magray’s cricketing career and a major achievement for the Union Territory.
India will tour England for a seven-match T20 International series, scheduled to be played from August 5 to August 19 across various venues. The opening match will take place on August 5 at the OurCoop County Ground in Derby, while the series will conclude at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground.
The DCCI has also named Sai Akash Saivamani of Tamil Nadu as the vice-captain of the 16-member Indian squad. The team includes three players from Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting the region’s growing contribution to differently abled cricket in India.
