Jahangir Becomes First J&K Athlete to Win Winter Special Olympics Medals. Jahangir is the first Jammu & Kashmir athlete to win Winter Special Olympics medals. In Jahangir’s success lies the role of his coach mentors who got him there. As a Project Officer, I selected Jahangir and brought him to Srinagar. I was so happy when he was honoured with two medals, Silver and Bronze. It was a great moment for me to watch his success journey. All the children with special needs were welcomed in a heartwarming way in Delhi. It is a matter of pride for Kashmir that a disabled child brought two medals, said the Project Officer.
